BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) is one of the most prestigious and competitive job exams in Bangladesh. It is the gateway to a successful career in the civil service sector, and therefore requires rigorous preparation. In this essay, I will discuss the essential steps that can help one to prepare for the BCS exam. Firstly, one needs to have a clear idea about the exam structure and the syllabus. BCS is divided into three phases- preliminary, written, and viva. Each phase has its own set of syllabus and exam pattern. One should collect the relevant materials from authentic sources and organize them in a systematic manner. A good understanding of the exam format and syllabus will help one to plan their study accordingly. Secondly, a well-planned study schedule is crucial for effective BCS preparation.
